Abolfazl Gathan • Persian: گاثان • Old Persian: 𐎥𐎠𐎰𐎠𐎴 • an artist, actor, vocalist, and music producer born in Tehran, Iran, who started his career in the hip-hop genre and later developed his musical work into a distinctive rap-rock direction, incorporating elements of alternative rock, post-rock, and post-metal. Alongside his musical activities, he has also been involved in acting and theater. The content of his work often explores social, philosophical, and mystical themes. His artistic identity is primarily centered on rap-rock and its alternative and experimental expressions.

In addition to his artistic activities, Gathan has pursued professional acting training at the Karnameh Institute of Arts and Culture in Tehran, studying acting, screen performance, voice and speech training, physical and expressionist theatre performance, and film studies under a number of prominent Iranian theater and cinema instructors, and has also continued advanced academic education in acting and performance at university level.
