More About Me

Abolfazl Gathan • Persian: گاثان • Old Persian: 𐎥𐎠𐎰𐎠𐎴 • an artist, actor, vocalist, and music producer born in Tehran, Iran, who started his career in the hip-hop genre and later expanded his work into post-rock and post-metal music. Alongside his musical activities, he has also been involved in acting and theater. The content of his work often explores social, philosophical, and mystical themes. Although he is primarily associated with alternative and experimental music, he does not limit himself to a single genre and occasionally works in blues and electronic music.

In addition to his artistic activities, Gathan has pursued professional acting training at the Karnameh Institute of Arts and Culture in Tehran, studying acting, screen performance, voice and speech training, physical and expressionist theatre performance, and film studies under a number of prominent Iranian theater and cinema instructors, and has also continued advanced academic education in acting and performance at university level.
