«کلانتر» یکی از بلندپروازانه‌ترین و گسترده‌ترین همکاری‌های گاثان و آری است. این اثر که در سال ۲۰۲۰ ضبط شد و چند سال بعد منتشر گردید، به دلیل ساختار طولانی، روایت چندلایه و تغییرات شدید فضایی، جایگاه ویژه‌ای در کارنامه هر دو هنرمند دارد.

ترانه با حال‌وهوایی نزدیک به هیپ‌هاپ کلاسیک آغاز می‌شود و در ابتدا فضایی آشنا، پرانرژی و حتی تا حدی خوش‌ریتم ایجاد می‌کند. اما با پیشرفت روایت، اثر به تدریج وارد قلمرویی تاریک‌تر و پرتنش‌تر می‌شود و لایه‌های تازه‌ای از روایت، تصویرسازی و کشمکش روانی را آشکار می‌کند.
